Premier League Enterprise Academy 

The Premier League Enterprise Academy is an exciting programme that Blackpool FC Community Trust run through the Premier League and Sport Relief.


The initiative is delivered in high schools across Blackpool through classroom workshops that are designed to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. The programme uses Blackpool Football Club to give young people an insight into business in the sports industry.

The programme is made up of ten core subjects:

  • Introduction to the sporting organisation
  • What is a business?
  • Communication
  • Customer records
  • Customer services and complaints
  • Products and services
  • Advertising
  • Publicity and providing information
  • Succeeding in business

Alongside the business aspects of the programme, improving the young people’s personal skills will be a key outcome of the Enterprise initiative. Teamwork skills along with communication, problem solving and creativity will be developed throughout the programme making the young people more employable after leaving education.
